Seacoast Artists Guild Spring Show 2014

Jessie, 1st Place 2 Dimensional Art Excluding Photography

From April 4th-13th 2014, the Seacoast Artists Guild will present their annual Spring Show. The opening night for the show will be Saturday, April 5th, 2014.  When visiting the Market Commons, be sure to stop by the Seacoast Artist Gallery to view the work on display and for purchase.

Saturday April 5th, Opening Night I went with the intent of writing a story to share about Seacoast. As you can see from the photo above, the evening took a happy twist, as my portrait "Jessie" became part of the story.

The Wolf of Winter, Marlene Askins

Five Categories comprise the Spring and Fall Shows. People are allowed to Submit two pieces of their work in the five categories: 1. Photography; 2. Sculpture; 3. Fabric Art; 4. All 2 Dimensional Art Excluding Photography; 5. Best in Show.

The first place award for 2 Dimensional Art Excluding Photography went to my portrait, "Jessie!" I was very excited to win this award.

Best in Show was Order & Chaos by John Yothers.
